3 Day Weekender – Carnival Spirit Cruise
In July 2018, I boarded the Carnival Spirit for my first Carnival Cruise. We were onboard for 3 nights in a Category 7A Balcony Obstructed Cabin. We had two single beds in our cabin as well as a separate lounge area which was room enough to put our suitcases. Our balcony was only partly obstructed by the tender boats and still had a view over the top of the boats.
The ship itself is awesome – so many places to eat. We dined at Guys Burger Joint and Fat Jimmy’s C-Side BBQ as well as in the Empire Dining Room. Everything we ate was so delicious, especially in the Empire Dining Room. Our waiter was so helpful and friendly. The entertainment while dining was amazing. The waiters got up on platforms to sing and dance. The whole dining room gets involved which is great to see. It’s a lot of fun. I also chose to dine at the Nouveau Restaurant one evening. This restaurant has a $45.00 per person cover charge but is well worth the money! The food and the service are great.
